Senior Vice President of Strategy and Growth, Surest
Alison Kosup is the Senior Vice President of Strategy and Growth for Surest. In this role, Alison is accountable for developing and executing the growth and product strategy for UHCs fastest growing commercial product. Alison is accountable for the identification, development, and enablement of new or underutilized distribution partnerships across UHG and developing strategies for new segment and product expansion. Alison has held various role during her time at UHC all focused within the commercial employer space. Previously she was the VP of Strategy and Operations for the Northeast Region focusing on the development and execution of critical strategies across multiple health plans and functional areas to deliver on commitments to our customers as well as business growth objectives. Prior roles included direct client management as a Strategic Account Executive in the New York market, and Regional Director of Health Care Analytics managing a team that supported national employer clients with clinical and financial analysis for more than 400 customers.
Prior to 2005 Alison worked at ActiveHealth as well as NERA, an economic consulting arm within Marsh & McLennan.
Alison holds Bachelor’s Degrees in Economics and Political Science from James Madison University and a Master’s Degree in Applied Economics from Johns Hopkins University.

J.R. Clark is the Senior Vice President of Health Plan Product and Strategy at Paytient Technologies, where he partners with thoughtful employers, insurers, and health systems to help people better access and afford healthcare. J.R. is a former Director and Actuary of Anthem (Elevance), where he was known for his public exchange marketplace strategies and creation of alternative products in the Individual and Small Employer segments. J.R. obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Missouri-Columbia, is an Associate of the Society of Actuaries and a Member of the American Academy of Actuaries.
Nikita Singareddy
co-founder and CEO of Fortuna Health
Nikita Singareddy is the co-founder and CEO of Fortuna Health, a multi-lingual platform to easily check eligibility, enroll, and recertify on Medicaid (backed by Andreessen Horowitz). Nikita has worked as a healthcare investor and served in strategy and operations roles at Oscar Health and Truepill. She is a former Medicaid beneficiary.
Laura Jensen

Pharma and Provider at Amazon Pharmacy
Laura Jensen is the Head of Business Development, Pharma and Provider at Amazon Pharmacy. She joined Amazon Pharmacy from PillPack, where as Vice President of Commercial Markets she founded a business development team focused primarily on strategic partnership development and growth. Previously, Jensen served as a Director at UCB Pharmaceuticals supporting the U.S. commercial innovation strategy. Over her career, she has held leadership roles at both UCB and GlaxoSmithKline Pharmaceuticals in sales, marketing, operations, and commercial innovation. Jensen earned her B.S. in Marketing from Clemson University where she was a full-scholarship athlete and earned an MBA from the University of San Francisco.

Leemore S. Dafny, PhD

and Professor of Public Policy at Harvard Kennedy School
Dafny is the Bruce V. Rauner Professor of Business Administration and Professor of Public Policy at Harvard Kennedy School, where she teaches courses on healthcare strategy and policy. She is a Research Associate of the National Bureau of Economic Research and serves on the board of the American Society of Health Economists and on the editorial board for Management Science.
Dafny’s research focuses on competition and consolidation in healthcare markets. She has served as Deputy Director for Health Care and Antitrust at the Federal Trade Commission and testified on competition in U.S. healthcare to both houses of Congress and in federal court. Dafny advises companies, government agencies, and nonprofits on a variety of issues including antitrust matters, strategic decisions, and public policy.
Dafny has an undergraduate degree in Economics from Harvard College and a PhD in economics from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
