Ryan Wyrtzen
Partner, Putnam Associates
Ryan is a Partner on the senior leadership team of Putnam’s Value, Pricing and Access Practice Area. He serves leading biopharmaceutical and earlier stage life-science companies in strategic areas related to new product planning and pricing and market access strategy at the franchise and product level.
Ryan has been at Putnam for over 14 years and has deep expertise in vaccines and oncology with work spanning key geographies including the US, EU and emerging markets. He has a sterling track record of helping client achieve impactful results.
Prior to joining Putnam, Ryan worked at the Health Connector, the Massachusetts state health insurance exchange. A lifelong New Englander, Ryan earned an MBA from Harvard Business School and a BA in Economics and History from Brown University, where he graduated magna cum laude and was elected to Phi Beta Kappa.
Karthik Balasubramaniam
VP of Global Commercial Operations, Moderna
Karthik Balasubramaniam is Vice President of Global Commercial Operations at Moderna. He is responsible for building out capabilities in data, analytics and insights, as well as the commercial processes and infrastructure that power Moderna’s evolving commercial model.
Karthik was previously at Vertex Pharmaceuticals for over a decade from first commercial launch through the evolution of its commercial organization, and held a variety of roles in global marketing, US brand leadership, and marketing science. Prior to Vertex, Karthik was a management consultant at The Boston Consulting Group. He holds a PhD in Systems Engineering from the University of Pennsylvania and a Masters in Urban Transportation from the University of Illinois at Chicago.
